KWANZA TARPON LODGE

The Tarpon Lodge is located at the mouth of the Kwanza River, approximately 70 km south of Luanda and immediately adjacent to the sea. The lodge boasts comfortable cabin accommodation with a restaurant and bar built in a picturesque setting, amongst the natural vegetation on the banks of the river. Kwanza Tarpon Lodge has 6 double en-suite bungalows and 4 en-suite two room family bungalows all with private verandas and air condition for the hot summer months.

CAMP RIO LONGA

Thirty years of human absence left the incredible marine resources of rivers and coastline of Angola untouched, waiting to be explored by the enthusiastic and adventurous sport fisherman. Several day excursions are available from the lodge and include activities such as; visits to some of the traditional fishing villages, river cruises, sundowner cruises, crocodile spotting, photography, guided walking trails and sea turtle tracking ( in season only ). Camp Rio Longa can be reached by scheduled flights from Johannesburg or Windhoek. Guests can be collected by the lodge for a road transfer to the docking site on the Rio Longa River.
