GUNN'S CAMP
Located on Ntswi, a private island on the Boro
River off the western edge of Chiefs Island, Gunns Camp is deep in the
permanent water area of the Okavango Delta. The 16-bedded Kenyan-style
camp has Meru Safari tents, each with en-suite facilities, a
swimming-pool, restaurant and large bar area.
A new addition is a honeymoon suite. Options
include a stay at the camp, where the price includes all meals and
drinks and a morning, afternoon or all-day activity.
Alternatively guests can go on camping safaris from
the Bush Camp either in mokoros (dug-out canoes) or on boating
expeditions varying from three to six days, camping on a different
island each night. Game and bird walks are another option. |

OKAVANGO RIVER BOATS
Capture the rhythms of the Delta and feel the heartbeat of the mighty
Okavango in Botswana as you journey on the Ngwesi, an Okavango
Houseboat, moored on the river, near the town of Seronga.
En
suite accommodation is offered for eight guests in the cabins on the
lower deck, with additional open air accommodation offered for 6 people
on the upper deck. Activities include game viewing and birding, fishing,
excursions on tender boats to explore the Delta with its countless water
channels, floating islands, fertile banks and of course, mekoro
excursions (dugout canoe) – discover the delta the traditional way with
an experienced local guide. The untouched water wilderness sanctuary of
the Delta is ideal for quiet discovery. The “Ngwesi River Boat”, named after the feisty Tiger
fish found in abundance in the Delta, is moored in Shakawe at Drotsky’s
Cabins from where it operates. The “Ngwesi” Luxury River Boat is staffed
by a licensed Skipper and trained staff. |

POM POM CAMP
The Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private
concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the head
waters of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary
of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true
Okavango wilderness experience.
Accommodation consists o f nine luxury safari tents
in true traditional safari style, all with full en-suite semi open
ablution facilities. The main building is attractively designed and
constructed of thatch and canvas and comprises lounge, dining, bar and
pool areas, as well as a gift shop and the boma area.
The Camp is set under a grove
of shady trees and overlooks a beautiful lagoon enhancing the already
spectacular Okavango sunsets. Activities include game drives, night
drives, mokoro trips and walks. Game viewing is of the best offered in
the Delta. |

ABU CAMP
Abu Camp
is situated in a 400 000-acre private reserve in the heart of the
Okavango Delta. The camp has 6 luxurious tents that are located under a
shady canopy in an ancient riverine forest. The tents have a unique and
wonderful design with a private viewing deck overlooking the lagoon.
Each tent at Abu has beautiful en-suite facilities with a shower and a
bath.
The dining / bar areas are on raised wooden decks that wind around
African Ebony and Sycamore Fig trees. The lounge and dining tent has
beautiful big sofas, with a breathtaking view over the lagoon and also
features a well-stocked library and a study.
Guests at Abu Camp are invited to share with the resident elephant
family what is, without doubt, the ultimate elephant education safari.
The elephant experiences offer many magical moments including
interacting with the resident herd of eight elephants by riding or
walking with them, as well as with the herds of wildlife in the area.
Abu also offers game drives, night drives, walks and mokoro (dugout
canoe) safaris - as well as the most intimate elephant learning

CHITABE CAMP
Chitabe
is a luxurious 8-roomed tented camp built on one of the most beautiful
islands in the Okavango Delta, in a private area which is bordered on
three sides by the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is located in a diverse
area incorporating mopang woodlands, acacia, floodplains and the
perennial delta, all of which provide a variety of wildlife.
Accommodation consists
of 8 spacious East African style tents that are built on elevated wooden
decks, beneath the lush tree canopy. Each tented room has en-suite
facilities with flush toilets, a shower and basin with hot and cold
running water. The thatched dining area, lounge and pub are also raised
on decks overlooking the surrounding flood plains, and a pool allows
guests to cool off from the heat of the day. Activities consist of
day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles accompanied by an
experienced guide, as well as nature walks. Game viewing is good, and
includes Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Reedbuck, Lechwe,
Impala, Zebra and Hippo. Wild Dogs occur in the area. Access into this
area is only by aircraft. |
