NEW OXBOW LODGE

The lodge is reached via the glorious Moteng Pass which tops out at 2800 meters and then descends to the lodge in a valley 8km from the summit, on the banks of the Malibamatsoe river. The road is tarred all the way and accessible by car, and takes the traveler through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Southern Africa. New Oxbow Lodge is an African mountain adventure experience. Come stay with us and set your spirit free.

Situated on the banks of the Malibamatsoe River, this secluded lodge is ideal for skiing enthusiasts (ski slope 11km away). Equipment can be hired from the lodge. An ideal altitude for athletic training, and great 4x4 territory. Gas heaters in rooms, log fires in lounge. Trout fishing and bird-watching. Conference facilities.
