The six spacious walk-in canvas tents each have private bathroom facilities and panoramic views of the flood plains below. Well-lit pathways connect the tents to the main bar and lounge. A wide range of cuisine is served, blending local ingredients with international flavours.

Meals are served outdoors where possible and often around a log-fire in the evening. Knowledgeable guides in open four-wheel drive vehicles conduct game-drives. The emphasis in this area is on walking safaris.

Kwena Lagoon Camp (opening 1 July 2008) is situated in the Luamfwa Concession in the southern sector of the South Luangwa National Park. Accommodation consists of 8 safari-style tents, each en-suite with both an indoor and outdoor shower.
