BOOKING PROCEDURES
All bookings
for African Reservations are handled by the Central Reservations
Office.
Bookings may be made by
phone, fax, e-mail or online using the booking
enquiry form.
In response to reservation requests an informal quotation will be returned
by e-mail, detailing facilities,
services and or products booked.
Reservations
are only confirmed on receipt of the required payment.
Once payment
has been received and affirmed, clients will be issued with
confirmation vouchers signalling full payment.
Most rates
are listed in South African Rand (ZAR), except where the use of
foreign currencies have been used due to extreme currency exchange
fluctuations between the local currency and major currencies.
Rates are
subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Full payment required on
confirmation of booking, unless otherwise negotiated.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Bank transfer (EFT) or direct deposit.
Payment by Credit Card (MasterCard, VISA and
Dinersclub).
CANCELLATIONS
Any applications for refunds / cancellations / modifications are required in
writing and will be penalised as follows*:
>>> 31 -
45 days before arrival 50% of total booking value
>>> 16 - 30 days before arrival 75% of total booking value
>>>
0 - 15 days before arrival 100% of total booking value
>>> 100 %
of total booking value for non-arrival or no show.
All refunds and modifications are subject to a
minimum15% of the total booking amount handling fee or as
negotiated.
*Penalties might be less then
actually indicated or totally absolved with only African
Reservations maintaining the right to lessen actual percentage of
penalty or absolve it totally where and as it deems fair.
