ADDO REST CAMP

Chalet's with double sleeper couch, bathroom and kitchen. This type of accommodation can sleep either two adults and two children or three adults. The chalet is a bed-sitter with two single beds and a sleeper couch, all in the same area, no separate bedroom. Air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower. Two chalets are adapted to accommodate paraplegics.

Semi-detached Chalet's. This type of accommodation can only sleep two persons. Two single beds (together) with shower, toilet, hand basin. Kitchenette with bar-fridge, 2-plate stove, microwave oven, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Air conditioner.

Cottages. This type of accommodation can only sleep two persons. Two single beds (together) with shower, toilet and hand basin. Kitchenette with bar-fridge, 2-plate stove, microwave oven, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Fan only.

Rondawels overlooking floodlit water whole. This type of accommodation can only sleep two persons. The hut has two single beds (together), a shower, toilet, hand basin and fridge. A communal kitchen with a four plate electric stove, (no oven) cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are shared with the other huts. Air conditioning.

Forest Cabins sleeping a maximum of 4 persons each. The hut is an open area with 4 single beds, a table and seating for four persons. Shower, toilet and hand basin. Braai facilities, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils and fridge. With communal kitchen.

The Family Chalet can sleep a maximum of 6 persons. This unit is made up of one bedroom with a double bed and a bed-sitter area, comprising of two single beds and a sleeper couch. The bathroom leads off of the bed-sitter area. Equipped kitchen and air conditioning.

Chalet 15 has two single beds (together) in an open plan area with kitchen, shower, toilet and hand basin. Air conditioning. With shower and mini kitchen. All accommodation is serviced and equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, bedding, towels and soap. Braai area outside.

Camping sites with ablution facility and camp kitchen with stove tops. Caravan sites are equipped with 220V power points and a wooden table and benches. A maximum of six persons, one caravan with a side tent and one vehicle, or one tent and one vehicle, or one auto villa or one motorised caravan will be permitted per site.

Safari Tents with two single beds, bedding, towels, fan, fridge, braai and separate communal ablution facilities (shower, toilet and basin). They can also use the big ablution block in the camping area (bath). A communal kitchen with two plate stoves, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils for each tent. These tents are situated inside the existing camping site area of the park next to the perimeter.

NOTE:  No “black water” (sewerage) disposal point for “Porta-potti” Caravans.

KABOUGA

Mvubu camping site on the banks of the Sundays River has braai sites, toilets and showers. Accessible with high clearance vehicles only and located near the town of Kirkwood, approximately 45 minutes drive from the main camp.

NARINA BUSHCAMP

This is a tented camp with 4 tents, each have 2 single beds with bedding and towels. Open lapa/braai area, kitchen with gas stove, fridge, paraffin lamps, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. One shower with hot and cold water from a paraffin cylinder geyser and one flush toilet.

NOTE:  There are no shops or restaurants, this is solely for own cooking and for nature lovers.

MATYHOLWENI REST CAMP

Matyholweni is located near the coastal town of Colchester, off the N2 highway. The camp is accessible by car and is located approximately 45 minutes drive from Addo Main Camp.

Family Cottages that can sleep two adults and one child. Two single beds (together) and one single sleeper couch, (open area, no separate bedroom). Bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. Kitchenette with bar-fridge, 2-plate stove, microwave oven, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Fan only.
