5 Day Angola Beach Explorer Tour

Day 1
Luanda.  Arrival in Luanda and transfer to the comfortable Greens Guest House. You will have the opportunity to take a tour of the city, including a visit to the colonial Governors Palace, depending to time of arrival in the capital city of Angola. Overnight Greens Guest House. [D]

Day 2
Kwanza River. Kwanza Lodge is built on stilts on the bank of the Kwanza River close to the mouth of this mighty 960km long river. Optional activities include fishing or river cruises, spotting rare birds, crocodiles and various game species. Overnight Kwanza Tarpon Lodge. [BLD]

Day 3
Rio Longa. Following the Atlantic coast we continue south to our next lodge, Camp Rio Longa, situated on an island near the mouth of the Longa River. The Rio Longa forms the southern most border of the Kissama National Park. This park achieved international recognition following a well-publicized elephant relocation project during the year 2000. Surrounded by the fresh waters of the Rio Longa, the island is literally only meters away from the Atlantic Ocean.  Overnight  Camp Rio Longa. [BLD]

Day 4
Rio Longa. Day at leisure. Thirty years of human absence left the incredible marine resources of rivers and coastline of Angola untouched, waiting to be explored by the enthusiastic and adventurous sport fisherman. Several day excursions are available from the lodge and include activities such as; visits to some of the traditional fishing villages, river cruises, sundowner cruises, crocodile spotting, photography, guided walking trails and sea turtle tracking ( in season only ).Overnight Camp Rio Longa. Day 5
Luanda. After breakfast we head back to Luanda. Tour ends. [B]
