10 Day Madagascar Watersports Adventure Holiday

Day 1
Antananarivo. On arrival in Antananarivo you will be met by a representative from Jenman African Safaris and transferred to the hotel. You have the afternoon free to relax or explore the capital city of Madagascar.

Day 2
Antsirana - Sakalava Bay. After an early breakfast we make our way to the airport for our flight to Antsiranana (flight not included). On arrival, we transfer straight to the Sakalava Bay, 2? miles outside of Diego-Suarez on the route to Ramena Beach. Sakalava Bay is a small bay protected by a coral reef, an exceptional site with magnificent deserted beaches for lazing away in splendid isolation or swim and explore the coastline, above and below water. Day 3-5
Sakalava Bay. You'll have plenty of time here. You can walk coastal paths that cross rich dunes vegetation and white sands, ideal for swimming and underwater exploration with a simple mask and snorkel. Sakalava Bay is well-known for world class windsurf and kitesurfing (equipment can be rented on the spot)! The hotel offers you total comfort in the serenity of a magnificent shady garden. You can enjoy a unique view of the second largest bay in the world. 'Sugar Bread', the legendary volcano-like mini mountain in the bay that's symbolic of the region is clearly visible. The entire hotel grounds are also places to relax after hikes and savor the impressions they've made on you. Sunworshippers, lounge chairs await you by the swimming pool. [BD / BD / BD]

Day 6
Antsirana - Nosy Be. After breakfast, transfer to the airport to fly to Nosy Be (flight not included in tour price) and then get transferred by car to your hotel at the beach. Nosy-Be is a picturesque island with turquoise sea, white sandy beaches, luxuriant fauna and flora that lies 300 km2 off the North-Western coast of Madagascar. Sunshine all year round. [B]

Day 7-9
Nosy Be. A variety of optional excursions are available. Visit the Lokobe Reserve, a rainforest where you might see snakes, birds, chameleons etc. or day-cruise to Nosy Komba to meet the endemic Macaco lemurs, one of Madagascar's prestigious animal species or go diving at Nosy Tany Kely, a marine reserve with beautiful corals and a big variety of fish. The pleasant Vanila Hotel, right on the beach, offers all the comfort you could wish. All bedrooms opens onto a terrace with a magnificent view on the sea and a tropical garden. A refreshing swimming-pool overlooking the sea waits for you! [B / B / B]

Day 10
Nosy Be - Antananarivo. You will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight from Nosy Be to Antananarivo, where you can either fly out or start your post program.
