African Reservations

Ruacana is a village in Omusati Region, northern Namibia. It is located on the border with Angola on the river Kunene. The landscape of Kaokoveld and Kunene seem so much larger than any other. Vast grass plains and dense savannahs are punctuated by huge mountains and rolling hills. Unspoilt landscapes, wildlife and historic culture abound in this wild, remote part of Africa. The Kunene River forms a natural boundary at Namibia's northern extremity.
