Noordhoek Accommodation

The Noordhoek valley remains one of the Cape Town's treasured destinations. Despite its rural atmosphere and rustic surroundings, its famous beach and its vast wetlands, Noordhoek has lots more to offer, including a wide range of activities. It is a semi-rural village renowned for its wonderful beach, its horseriding and an environment which attracts those who want to be within easy distance of the city yet want to enjoy the peace and atmosphere the village provides.

Surrounded on three sides by mountains, including the beautiful Silvermine Nature Reserve, and on the other side by a 7km white sand beach, the village is a specially popular location for a wide range of artists who form the famous Norodhoek Art Route by opening their studios to the public on the first Sunday of every month between October and May. Noordhoek Farm Village, just 1km down the road, is very much the centre of village activities and has a collection of craft shops.

In the surrounding mountains there are various trails that offer challenges for both experienced and novice hikers. Many other tourist attractions are within a 30min drive from the house. Keen golfers are within a 15 minute drive from 3 of Cape Town’s top golf courses. The Village has a great atmosphere with a pub that shows all sport, live music and good pub food.

Noordhoek Farm Village is the heart of the Noordhoek community – offering country charm under shady oaks. The village is the dining capital of the south peninsula with 4 recommended restaurants combining fresh ingredients with superb cooking and service. The unique outdoor location of Noordhoek Farm Village offers a friendly safe environment for diners, leisurely shoppers, travellers, sporting enthusiasts and kids! Accommodation, tourism information , numerous lifestyle services , events, a children’s playground and retail therapy make Noordhoek Farm village an enchanting destination.
