Bhubesi Camp is found in the northwest corner of the park and can be reached either by internal park roads from the main gate. The camp overlooks the Umbuluzana River, with its reed beds and dense riverine vegetation and is private.
Bhubesi Camp has six self catering, self-contained stone cottages (2 twin rooms per cottage) with all the comfort of home, including electricity, in a pristine riverine setting. Each unit has a ceiling fan in each room, linen and towels are provided; the kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has both bath and shower. There is a private braai (barbecue) area in front of the unit overlooking the riverbed.
Bhubesi Camp is geared more to the guest who wishes to self-cater as the camp is a 25 min drive from the restaurant located at Ndlovu Camp - the main camp where all guests check-in before driving to Bhubesi. It is possible to take meals at the restaurant at Ndlovu, but please note that, at night, guests have to use the main road around the Park in order to get back to Bhubesi Camp - approximately 14 km.
