Bhubesi Camp is located in the northwest corner of the park and can be accessed via internal park roads from the main gate. The camp overlooks the Umbuluzana River, with its reed beds and dense riverine vegetation, offering a private and serene setting.
Bhubesi Camp features six self-catering, self-contained stone cottages, each with two twin rooms, providing all the comforts of home, including electricity. Each unit is equipped with ceiling fans in each room, and linen and towels are provided. The fully equipped kitchen ensures convenience, and the bathroom includes both a bath and a shower. Guests can enjoy a private braai (barbecue) area in front of each unit, overlooking the riverbed.
The camp is designed for guests who prefer self-catering, as it is a 25-minute drive from the restaurant located at Ndlovu Camp, the main camp where all guests check-in before heading to Bhubesi. While it is possible to dine at the restaurant at Ndlovu, guests should note that, at night, they must use the main road around the park to return to Bhubesi Camp, a distance of approximately 14 km.
