Brandberg Campsite is situated in the north-central Namib desert at the base of Brandberg Mountain, offering a total of 23 campsites.
Each site includes a braai area and a water tap, with access to shared ablution blocks featuring toilets, hot showers, and a spacious lapa. However, power points are not available at the campsites.
At the nearby Brandberg White Lady Lodge, guests can enjoy amenities such as a bar, restaurant, and swimming pool. Activities like desert elephant drives, hiking, and scenic excursions are also available.
Brandberg Mountain, Namibia’s highest peak, is celebrated for its unique species and rich biodiversity. The area hosts numerous ancient rock art sites, including the famous White Lady painting. These stone-age artworks, created by the San bushmen, provide evidence of the historical presence of desert elephants in the region. During the dry seasons, groups of desert elephants often wander through the Ugab River valley.
