Brandberg Campsite is located in the north-central Namib desert at the foot of the Brandberg Mountain and offers 23 campsites.
Each campsite has its own braai facilities and water tap. There are shared ablution blocks with toilets and hot showers, as well as a spacious lapa. The campsites do not have power points.
The facilities at the Brandberg White Lady Lodge include a bar, restaurant, and a swimming pool. Activities such as the desert elephant drive, hiking and scenic drives are offered at the Lodge.
The Brandberg Mountain is the highest mountain in Namibia and is known for its endemic species and rich biodiversity.
A variety of prehistoric rock art can be found in the area, of which the White Lady is especially famous. The stone-age rock paintings of the San bushmen give evidence of the presence of the famous desert elephants in the area in times past. Especially during the drier periods of the year, groups of desert elephant rove in the valley of the Ugab river.
