Camp Kwando is located 400 km east of Rundu, 100 km west of Katima Mulilo, and 28 km south of the village of Kongola. The island features thatched tents, each with two beds equipped with mosquito nets. Elevated on poles with a terrace overlooking the river, these tents allow guests to fish directly from the deck. Additionally, there are six luxury chalets situated on higher ground, each with a spacious bedroom, En-suite bathroom, and expansive terrace.
The lodge offers a flat-bottom aluminium boat that can accommodate up to fourteen people for trips on the Kwando River. A specially equipped Land Rover is available for game drives into neighbouring parks. Adventurous anglers can try their luck catching tiger fish in the Kwando waters. The camp's proximity to the Mamili National Park, renowned for its wilderness, enables organized field trips to experience authentic bush life. A three-day excursion to Mamili provides an exceptional adventure.
Bush Camp Campsites is located further way from the lodge and not nearby, features four exclusive campsites in a lush tropical setting, each equipped with private braai facilities under a thatched roof.
