Caprivi Mokoro Trip

The Caprivi Mokoro Trip is scheduled twice daily in the morning (08:30) and in the afternoon (16:00 or 16:30 depending on booking month). Each Mokoro has space for 2 adults and the operator of the boat. Departures are from reception at Ngepi Camp. After a short briefing, the Mokoro adventure can start.

This trip is approximately 2 ½ hours, dependant on the river and water levels. The cruise can be either upstream or downstream, or both.

Guests have the chance to enjoy the tranquillity of nature in a completely different way, as the Mokoro moves through the water without any noise.

Wildlife, such as hippos, elephant, crocodile, buffalo and birds can be seen on the opposite river bank.
