Chobe Water Villas in Namibia, is situated in the 150 km² Namibian Kasika Conservancy directly on the banks of the Chobe River and opposite the renowned Chobe National Park and the Safari Town of Kasane, in Botswana. This location affords unobstructed views from Chobe Water Villas into the National Park and over the world-renowned Sedudu Island.

This Island boasts the greatest density of wildlife of any river system in the world and includes elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo, crocodile and up to 18 species of antelope and 460 bird species. A paradise 50,000 elephants call home and two mighty African rivers meet.This spectacular location ensures that this exciting view into untamed Africa is available from the lodge and every one of its 16 exclusive water villas.

Nestling in the gardens and flowing seamlessly from the main lodge building is Chobe water villas’ spectacular infinity pool and relaxing pool deck with its amazing and unobstructed views of the Chobe River, Sedudu Island and Chobe National Park. It features an intimate 36 seat restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a cozy cocktail bar & lounge as well as the private library lounge with its complimentary all day tea & coffee butler station.

Chobe National Park itself is furthermore home to giraffe, wild dog, leopard, cheetah, jackal, hyena and one of the greatest zebra migrations after the Masai Mara or Serengeti in Tanzania and Kenya. The 117,000 km² Chobe National Park’s wildlife statistics confirm that it is home to 50,000 elephants along with some 164 mammal species representing one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Antelope species include roan, sable, lechwe, waterbuck, kudu, eland, puku, klipspringer, impala and the occasional rare sitatunga.

This location, at the confluence of the legendary Chobe and the mighty Zambezi Rivers is where the borders of four Countries meet: Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Keen fishing enthusiasts will be challenged by the greatest of all fresh water fighting fish, the powerful and energetic tiger fish along with nembwe and the delicious three spot bream.

The Lodge is accessed via Kasane in Botswana by boat transfer.
