Gamsberg Pass is located on the C26 gravel road from Windhoek to Walvis Bay and is considered to be one of the most beautiful passes in Namibia.
Although the C26 gravel road is shorter than the national road it takes longer due to the windings through the pass.
The Gamsberg mountain located at the pass is over a 1000 million years old and this flat top mountain rises 450 meters above the surrounding landscape. It is the third highest mountain in Namibia at 2347 meters above sea level.
