Hammerstein Lodge is situated between Swakopmund and Lüderitz, nestled between the Nubib and Tsaris mountains. It is in close proximity to the beautiful Sossusvlei region and only 60 km from Sesriem.
Visitors at Hammerstein Lodge have a choice between bungalows equipped for self-caterers, camping facilities or lodging.
A few kilometres from the lodge, rocky outcrops of massive granite boulders conjure up visions of a giant’s playground. It is from one of these boulders – an enormous rock shaped like a hammer – that “Hammerstein”, the German name of the farm, was derived.
Hammerstein Campsites: Campsites with water and electricity, and shady trees. Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 8 persons and 2 vehicles.
