The lions, that will be tracked during the Lion Tracking activity on Kalahari Game Lodge, are situated in a 24 000 ha electrified fenced enclosure. There are 4 lions that have been collared with GPS collars. Guests are taken out with an open game vehicle searching for these lions with the GPS signal. Off road driving does occur through bushes and bumpy terrain. Lion sighting are guaranteed if all GPS signals are in working order.

The Lion Tracking activity departures daily at 07:00 or 14:00, winter times may differ. It is advised, to do afternoon and morning drives between March and August and only morning drives during the months September to February because of the extreme heat in the afternoons.

There are more animals in the enclosure, such as brown hyena, black backed jackals and caracal. Other animal sightings can also include Gemsbok (Oryx), Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Springbok, Steenbok, Duiker, Giraffe, Eland, Kudu and Ostrich.
