Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge is located 8 km south of Kalkrand, accessible by turning left off the B1 into the nature reserve. Tucked behind red Kalahari dunes, the lodge is reached after another three kilometres.
The main house, featuring a restaurant, pool, and lobby, is situated in a dry lake (vlei) accessible via a 120 metre long boardwalk. The spacious lodge, offering privacy, includes twelve comfortable houses with grass roofs, blending half tent and half stone, nestled on the vlei's banks. Panoramic windows provide a stunning view of nature and the waterhole in the dry lake, where game is often spotted.
The lodge offers game drives, sunrise and sunset tours, and a romantic dining experience amid the red dunes.
