Kayube River Lodge is a 90-hectare estate located along the Zambezi River, 18 km upstream from Victoria Falls and 25 km from Livingstone. The ever-changing moods of the Zambezi and the constant presence of African wildlife, such as hippos, hyenas, elephants, lions, and birds, create a truly immersive safari experience. The lodge’s self-catering accommodation is set among large riverine trees, providing beautiful views directly along the riverbank.
The accommodation is entirely self-catering, with each unit equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and air conditioning. There is indoor and outdoor seating, along with braai facilities, and essentials like charcoal, coffee, tea, Cremora, and sugar are supplied. Although there is no restaurant or bar on the premises, guests can enjoy the shared pool and crocodile plunge pool, while the River House offers a private pool for more exclusive use.
On-site activities include the Crocodile Plunge Pool and Sunset Cruises along the river. For those seeking adventure further afield, options include microlight flights, white water rafting, visits to The Elephant Café, walking safaris, and many more exciting experiences.
