Koro Island Camp, is ideal for explorer orientated travellers. A suspension bridge welcomes safari travellers into camp with sweeping views of the river. This seasonal safari luxury includes a thatched lounge and dining area, a viewing and lounging deck overlooking the main channel of the Limpopo River.
The unpretentious style and layout of the camp offers a perfect invitation for small parties (max 8) of safari travellers with special interests to enjoy the scenery and relax or to explore the land of giants.
Four en-suite Meru tents are dotted around the tiny island, each one with private views of the Limpopo. Furnished with comfortable beds, tables and clothes hangers, the tents are spacious and inviting. Each unit consists of a traditional open air bathroom out back, complete with bathtubs.
Koro Island Camp is completely off the grid and runs on gas and paraffin, rolling back the years to vintage Botswana.
