Mankwe Campsite, positioned on the eastern fringe of the Okavango Delta, serves as a strategic hub between the Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park, offering an ideal starting point for exploration.
Set within Botswana's untamed wilderness, this esteemed area boasts unfenced expanses, allowing wildlife to roam freely. Visitors can encounter resident lions, abundant elephants, and vast opportunities for discovery.
The campsites cater to various group sizes: Mopane 1 accommodates 21 people, while Mopane 2 and 3 each accommodate 10. Similarly, Camelthorn 1 and 2 accommodate 10 guests each, with Camelthorn 3 providing pre-set tents upon request. Each site includes amenities such as a bucket shower, flush toilet, and wash basin (guests must bring their own tents). Water can be heated over the fire for warm showers. Firewood is provided for the first night, with additional wood available for purchase at the main lodge. Access to the campsites requires a 4x4 vehicle due to sandy roads in the area.
