McBride's Camp is nestled in one of the last pristine wilderness areas of Kafue National Park, far from roads and human presence. This secluded location becomes a sanctuary for wildlife, especially during the dry season, thanks to three cool springs that attract various animals. Positioned on a gentle bend of the meandering Kafue River and close to where it meets the Mushingashi River, the camp offers breath-taking 180-degree riverfront views, with a resident pod of 30 hippos nearby. With access by both road and air, McBride's  Camp is a true haven for nature lovers.

The camp provides a range of accommodation options to cater to different preferences. Seven thatched chalets, available on an either full board or an all-inclusive basis, offer a complete immersion in nature and are strategically located around the central lodge area, each with stunning views of the Kafue River.

The campsite, situated on a bushy island, offers sweeping views of both the river and the dambo, creating a deep sense of connection with the wild. For a more private experience, The Bush Camp located 14 km from the main camp and accessible only by boat offers a secluded retreat in one of Africa's last genuine wilderness areas.

Guests can choose from a variety of activities that highlight the park's unique features, including guided walking safaris, morning and night game drives, boat cruises, fishing, swimming in natural hot springs, and visits to the ruins of Zambia's first copper mine.
