Namibia & Botswana Self-Drive Tour
Enjoy the diverse and ever-changing allure of the Namibian landscape during this self-drive safari. The tour boasts magnificent wildlife spotting opportunity and is packed with adventure.
The tour starts in Windhoek, where guests will have time to acclimatize before starting the tour to Waterberg Plateau Park as well as the famous Etosha National Park. The Etosha National Park features several waterholes that provide some of the best game viewing opportunities in Southern Africa.
One of the highlights of this tour is a visit to the Khaudum National Park. Hidden away in Namibia’s north-eastern Kavango Region, the Khaudum National Park is not to be taken lightly. Rarely visited, very large, extremely wild and with only a rudimentary tourist infrastructure, it could be described as Namibia’s ‘forgotten wilderness’.
Crossing the border at Divundu to Botswana, guests will visit Shakawe which is located in the northwest corner of Botswana right next to the Okavango Panhandle, which is the main watercourse supplying the Okavango Delta.
The trip then slowly comes to an end, when returning to Namibia at the the Buitepos border post.
