If you love being close to nature and enjoy quiet evenings by the campfire, Namushasha River Self-Catering offers independent travellers a rustic camping experience with many amenities, eliminating the hassle of packing and unpacking camping equipment.

The four Namushasha River Self-Catering tents come with four beds each and an En-suite bathroom featuring a shower. Self-catering guests will find a fully-equipped kitchen on the outside terrace, complete with a fridge, stove, sink, and all necessary cooking utensils and cutlery. There is also an outdoor braai and a firepit for added comfort.

Campers can enjoy the facilities at the nearby Namushasha River Lodge, where they can book activities, dine at the restaurant, or take a swim in the pool.

During the dry season, from September to December, the rivers have very little water, limiting boat trips and access to river channels. Boat cruise activities are available based on water levels, and inquiries can be made at check-in.
