Nxai Pan Camp borders the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park in eastern Botswana and offers unsurpassed views of the open grasslands of the pans.
The 9 chalets of the camp face the waterhole and the main area which is centrally located is the ideal spot to explore the large variety of game that bustles around the waterhole.
Guests can make use of the lounge, restaurant and bar. The plunge pool offers a way to escape the heat and the curio shop presents the opportunity to buy some memorabilia to take along.
The camp offers nature walks and star gazing, in addition to the game drives. The nature walks are led by one of the Bushmen trackers. It is a fascinating experience where one takes a step towards learning and understanding how it is possible to survive in such a hostile environment – one gets a glimpse into the way of life and beliefs of the original inhabitants of the Kalahari desert.
