Omaruru Game Lodge is situated in a private game park of 3,400 ha. From the main road the visitor drives through the game, passing by rhinos, gnus, zebras and ostriches until finally reaching the ring-fenced carport of the lodge. The lodge is built in the midst of a green oasis with unique woodlands and palm trees with natural gardens which protect from the heat of the African sun.
The main African Round house with the restaurant is located in the center of the lodge. From the big restaurant patio one has a unique view of the wildlife around the waterhole. Surrounded by giraffes, zebras, rhinos, the terrace is the ideal place to finish a day with a sundowner. After dawn the area of the waterhole is illuminated so that visitors will be able to watch the game during dinner. The candle light dinner will be taken in the restaurant or on a romantic grill place where traditional Namibian food will be served. To make your day perfect, exchange thoughts and impressions over a drink, the bar is waiting for you.
The guest bungalows are situated around a big waterhole in the shadow of the large palm and sycamore trees. Each bungalow has its own patio. From there one can watch the scenery of African wildlife and submerge in the ambiance of the lodge or simply enjoy a refreshing bath in the pool.
The lodge offers a conference bungalow for 25 to 30 people fully equipped with presentation and communication tools. For those who want to experience “a special night in the bush” the may stay a night in the bush house. The bush house is located in some distance from the lodge in the big game park and offers the real touch of Namibian wildlife.
