Ozongwindi Lodge ("fruit of the Shepherd tree" in Herero) is a lodge comprising ten double free-standing thatched roof bungalows each with separate deck which situated on the banks of the Khan River, bungalows are extremely luxurious which include Namibian granite bathroom vanity tops and showers, free-standing Victoria Albert baths. All bungalows are air-conditioned / heated, mini bars / coffee stations / vanity safes, a number of bungalows are fitted with sleeper couches which bungalows can accommodate three persons.

The main dining / lounge / entertainment complex is also covered in thatch and comprises two lounge / dining decks, separate restaurant and lounge, well stocked bar, private library with WiFi and satellite television. A very private swimming pool with change room facilities which overlook the savanna with its numerous game species to be seen whilst relaxing on the pool deck. An illuminated water hole for game viewing rounds up the amenities offered by Ozongwindi Lodge. Activities such as game / scenic drives, walking trails along the Khan River (a dry river bed which occasionally flows during the rainy season) are available and a variety of game species can be viewed.

Ozongwindi Lodge is a bird-watcher's paradise as all bungalows are situated under a canopy of indigenous trees on the banks of the Khan River close to the old Okahandja road. Game species include oryx, kudu, springbok, hartebeest, black and blue wildebeest, cheetah, leopard, honey badger and most of the smaller species of game common to the area.
