Palmwag Campsite, located in the Palmwag Concession on the banks of the dry Uniab River in the Damaraland (Kunene region) of north-western Namibia, comprises thirteen spacious campsites.
The majority of campsites are situated next to the riverbed with splendid views. Each campsite has its own power point, light, wash basin, as well as a barbeque/ braai facility.
The communal ablution facilities provide showers with hot water.
Palmwag Lodge is famous for its spectacular scenery and the host of incredible desert-adapted wildlife in close proximity. Facilities at the lodge include a bar, restaurant and a swimming pool.
There are various activities on offer, including game drives in the vast 450,000 hectare Palmwag Concession, rhino tracking, and guided morning hikes.
