Experienced pilots take guests on an adventurous and informative journey whilst sharing the secrets of the world famous desert with them. The contrast between grassy plains and the vastness of Deadvlei is as fascinating to watch as the looming dunes of the Sossusvlei.
For the adventure lovers there will be flips over the Sesriem Canyon, Dune 45 or Elim Dune.
The flight will start at the Sossusvlei Lodge and will provide breath-taking views and sceneries of the Sesriem Canyon, Dune 45, Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and the Elim Dune.
4 options of 30, 45, 60 or 90 minute flights.
The 30 minute long flight flies over Sesriem Canyon and Elim Dune (rate on request).
The 45minute long flight flies over Sesriem Canyon, Dune 45 and Elim Dune (rate on request).
The 60 minute long flight flies over Sesriem Canyon, Dune 45, Sossusvlei & Deadvlei and Elim Dune (rate on request).
The 90 minute long flight flies over Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Coastal Cliffs, Seal Colony and Dune 45 (rate on request).
Minimum 2 passengers per flight. Maximum 3 passengers per flight. There are no fixed scheduled times for the helicopter flights and helicopters fly throughout the day.
Best flight times are however early morning shortly after sunrise or late afternoon just before sunset. Rates depend on the total amount of persons booked on a specific flight. Rates are subject to change without prior notice should government taxes, fuel prices and other fees increase unexpectedly.
