Teufelskrallen Tented Lodge is situated on the first Kalahari Dune from the western side and offers its visitor a panoramic view of the endless plain and the typical Kalahari dune stretches. All comfortable, fully furnished tents have a large viewing deck and a private bathroom. A short boardwalk connects the tent with the bathroom.
The large observation platforms of all units on stilts offer a breathtaking view towards the impressive Kalahari scenery with its red dunes and camel thorn trees. The tents are large and comfortable, tastefully furnished and possess their own bathrooms that can be reached via a wooden boardwalk. Each tent is equipped with a fridge.
The tent houses are large, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Thanks to their canvas enclosing, they are larger than the cabin tents and thus offer more comfort. They include their own bathroom with shower and toilet that can be reached via a wooden boardwalk. All tent houses feature a fridge and mini bar.

Reception, swimming pool, restaurant as well as the lobby with free-of-charge internet access are located in an old farm house 3 km from the site, in the middle of an oasis-like garden with lots of shady spots. Enjoy breakfast and dinner in the old farm house. Relax at the pool in the tropical gardens or order a cool drink and find a shady spot underneath mighty trees.
Enjoy almost 10,000 acres of pure Kalahari desert during a game drive. Climb red dunes that elevate up to 30 metres in an open off-road vehicle and watch the spectacular animals and vegetation. Experience the Kalahari desert in its pristine natural state. The following animals roam the private game reserve on almost 10,000 acres: Giraffe, eland, black wildebeest, blue wildebeest, Hartmann’s mountain zebra, plains zebra, nyala, impala, springbok, blesbok, red hartebeest, oryx, kudu, steenbok, porcupine, pangolin, aardvark, warthog, ostrich, as well as many common small animals and waterfowl during rainy season. For the most intense Kalahari feeling and to experience the Kalahari at close range hiking routes are available, guided and unguided and between 5 to 20 km. The hiking trails are well maintained and marked.
