Thornicroft Lodge is located just an hour's flight from Lusaka in the South Luangwa, a world-renowned national park celebrated for its big cat sightings and known as the "Valley of the Leopard." The park, home to over 400 bird species, has a rich heritage of walking safaris, first introduced by Norman Carr, making it a top choice for wildlife lovers.

The lodge offers accommodation in 10 river-view chalets, each with double or twin beds, mosquito nets, and space for an additional bed, or in a more budget-friendly Tented Camp with shared bathroom facilities.

The camp includes a central dining area with a lounge and bar, electricity-powered facilities, laundry services, complimentary Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, and a unique swimming pool shaped like Zambia.

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including 4x4 game drives, walking safaris, bird-watching, and Zambian village tours, as well as family-oriented activities like guided bike tours, table tennis, and a children's play area.
