Príncipe is a smaller version of São Tomé, with a port city in the north, and an extensive uninhabited forest in the south and a couple of plantations located here and there. Due to the islands small population it is found to be unspoiled which makes is more saught after.

Raw phonolite towers of various shapes punch through the forest, forming a crazy skyline, and making the entire island feel like Jurassic Park – without the dinosaurs, although there are some interesting endemic species that won't eat you (Lonely Planet).
