SOUTHERN AFRICAN TRAVEL BAN:
South Africa & Zimbabwe have closed their borders currently for incoming and outgoing leisure travel up to mid September 2020, at which time it will be reviewed. Namibia will be permitting selected entry from Botswana, Ethiopia and Germany as from 15 July 2020, and as per accordance with the minimum health risk these countries pose. Further selected countries will be granted entry as from 15 August 2020.
GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Most establishments in Southern Africa are in agreement that guest may shift their bookings for up to 12 months or more (additional annual and or season increases are applicable in some cases). In the event that guest want to cancel their bookings indefinite, cancellations penalties will be applicable. All applicable refunds will be issued in the form of a credit note which may be extended to third parties.
It is recommended that travellers who have bookings for August, September and onwards wait for the above travel bans to be reviewed and possibly lifted rather then hastily cancel their bookings, as cancellation fees are applicable.
