As a third party supplier in the tourism industry we are bound by different terms and conditions of the various service providers and thus have our own company policies applicable to you the user of our services.
Note that the full requested payment is due on receipt of the booking invoice to secure room availability if booked within 8 weeks of arrival date. A 50% booking deposit payment is due on bookings made prior to 8 weeks of arrival date with the remainder settlement amount payable 8 weeks before arrival date. Full payment is due on receipt of invoice when booking certain establishments. Payment can be made by electronic bank transfer (EFT), international funds transfer, direct bank deposit, or online-payment with credit card or debit card (MasterCard & VISA).
It is important to note that due to foreign exchange regulations we will have to convert invoiced foreign currency amounts into Namibian Dollar or South African Rand at the day’s bank selling rate of exchange. Non-payment by the stipulated date will result in an automatic cancellation of the booking. Any late or partial payments received after the automatic booking cancellation date will incur refund admin and bank charges which wIll be deducted accordingly from the travellers refund payment.
GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are only valid if received in writing and are calculated from the date of receipt of notice of cancellation.

All refunds and cancellations are subject to a minimum 25% of the total booking amount handling fee. AfricanReservations.com contracts the services of third parties and is therefore bound by the individual service providers booking conditions and cancellation policies (kindly see the respective web listing for each service provider on this website for further information). As cancellation policies of the various product and service suppliers vary in regard to cancellation fees and the above serves as an estimate, the onus rest's on the customer to request and inform themselves as to the corresponding cancellation policies. The cancellation policy may change at any time without notice to you.
CAMPSITE BOOKINGS CANCELLATION POLICY
All campsite bookings cancellations are subject to a minimum 50% of the total booking amount handling fee except where indicated differently on the web listing.

In the event that the individual service provider issues a credit note instead of a money payment the client will be refunded with the former.
All rates shown on the website are subject to real time currency exchange fluctuations as per chosen currency selected and hence serve as an estimate only and can not be guaranteed as correct at time of making an enquiry. Rates can only be confirmed as correct once an actual quotation has been send. All rates are subject to availability, supplier increases, seasonality, currency fluctuations and website updates. Rates that are depicted on the website, blogs or related websites will only be approved as correct once a booking enquiry has been answered and confirmed. All rates displayed on the website are not available to tour operators or travel agents.
Children's rates are available on request and vary according to the selected accommodation establishment’s children's policy.
Should you amend your booking after it has been confirmed and paid for, either in the form of a date change, itinerary amendment or any other change whatsoever, we reserve the right to charge a per booking amendment fee. Due to peak season demand, refurbishments or safety reasons, it may happen that establishments may either upgrade or move travellers to alternative establishments, rooms or campsites.
Please be aware that all accommodation establishments do undergo renovations from time to time. Establishments do their best to give advance warning of renovation work and take all possible steps to limit disruption to their guests. If we receive advance notification of renovation work you will be advised accordingly. AfricanReservations.com will not entertain complaints or requests for refunds if a hotel is carrying out renovations whilst a guest is resident.
It is a condition of booking and the sole responsibility of travellers to ensure they carry adequate comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependents/travelling companions for the duration of their trip.
This insurance should include cover in respect of, but not limited to, the following eventualities: cancellations or curtailments of bookings, emergency medical evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage/theft/loss of personal baggage, money and goods. Travellers will be charged directly by the relevant service providers for any emergency services they may require, and may find themselves unable to access such services should they not be carrying the relevant insurance cover.
If you opt to make use of travel insurance as offered by credit card companies please check their inclusions and exclusions very carefully to ensure that you and all members of your party are adequately covered for all eventualities as indicated above.
AfricanReservations.com including their representatives, employees and agents will not be liable for lack of travel insurance taken out by the client in terms of national law or international law, or in the case of the client not taking out travel insurance in the case of no legal requirements demanding travel insurance.
Travellers are responsible for their own travel, transfer and flight arrangements to and from all accommodation establishments.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all those travelling with you have a valid passport and any necessary visas to gain entry to the countries you are visiting. We will not accept any responsibility or liability should you, or any member of your party, travel without the correct travel documents.
Passport and visa regulations may change without notice to you by the relevant countries to be visited. We recommend that you check passport/visa requirements with the Embassy or Consulate of the countries you are going to visit. As a guideline, passports should be valid for six months after your intended departure from your last destination and contain a minimum of three blank visa pages for affixing visas and arrival stamps.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS FOR MINORS
Children must be in possession of the required documents: a valid passport, visa and vaccination documents or other documents which are required by one of the African countries e.g. complete birth certificate (unabridged original) or a certified copy thereof, as well as the letter of consent from both parents (if the minor travels alone) or from one of the parents (if one of the parents with shared custody travels alone with the minor). Please take note of the requirements for minors that are travelling and make sure that the necessary documents can be produced on request.
VACCINATIONS AND INOCULATIONS
It is your responsibility to ensure that all the required vaccinations and inoculations for the countries being visited have been obtained. We recommend that you consult your doctor or vaccination center for advice and up to date information regarding medical requirements.
Google Maps depicted on the website's accommodation pages are an approximate indication of location of the establishments. For accurate longitude and latitude the accommodation establishment in question should be contacted directly.
Should this website collect private information from users, such information shall not be disclosed to any third party unless agreed upon between the user and AfricanReservations.com or through due legal process. Users agree that AfricanReservations.com may, from time to time communicate with users.
Any person that delivers or attempts to deliver any damaging code to this website or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any page on this web site shall be prosecuted and civil damages shall be claimed in the event that AfricanReservations.com suffers any damage or loss.
TERM AND TERMINATION
This agreement shall commence when the user registers on the Africanreservations.com website and continues indefinitely until terminated by AfricanReservations.com. AfricanReservations.com may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
Us/our/we refers to AfricanReservations.com. Client/customer/user/your/you/traveller/travellers means individuals, groups, companies or other legal persons using the services offered by AfricanReservations.com. Principals, suppliers, service providers refers to lodges, hotels, campsites and the like as listed on the AfricanReservations.com website. The singular shall include the plural and vice versa.
In the event of any dispute of any nature whatsoever, arising between the parties on any matter provided for in or arising out of this agreement, such dispute shall be resolved through a mediation and arbitration process agreed to by the parties concerned.
