Big Cave Camp is situated on top of a massive granite hill, offering breathtaking views of the renowned Matobo National Park. The camp features an elegant African architectural design that incorporates enormous boulders into a beautifully crafted thatched lodge, surrounded by ancient Khoisan rock art.

At the end of the day, you can unwind in the natural rock-pool and sun deck, relax at the Leopard's Lair lounge and bar, gather for pre-dinner drinks in the cave-style boma, or explore the lodge library, which is a popular spot among guests. The accommodation consists of eight charming thatched A-frame cottages, each with its own En-suite bathroom and private balcony, showcasing the unique creativity of African aesthetics.

Activities to be enjoyed include game viewing, rhino tracking, rock art, bird watching, mountain biking and cultural village excursions.

Camping is available for outdoor enthusiasts a mere three kilometers away from the lodge. Ablution blocks, power point, braai area, water point and WiFi are provided for.

Experience a peaceful and secluded retreat, reminiscent of the original Kalanga grain bins that are nestled among the rocks, providing a sense of tranquility and solitude.
